libcunit1 software package provides Unit Testing Library for C, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcunit1
libcunit1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcunit1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcunit1 *
You will get with libcunit1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
